Felicity Jones is a native of England and is primarily known for the actress who appeared as Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones has worked in plays, films and TV from the age of 12. Her career began with the film on television The Treasure Seekers. Then she appeared as Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch, and The follow-up Weirdsister college. In her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool she was Young Ruth and went on to appear in a variety of films. She gained popularity for her performance in films including The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. However it was her role on The Theory of Everything' that won her an Oscar nomination for the very first time. Jones as Stephen Hawking's wife second in the biopic, was rewarded with plenty of praise from critics as well as viewers due to the manner in which she portrayed her. Inferno featuring Tom Hanks was next on her resume. Jones received the British Artist of year award in 2016 from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles.
